Happy New Year!! I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I spent some time back home with my family and friends. While I was there I was very excited to host a birthday party for my eight year old niece Winter. She and her five year old sister Nora were the inspiration for me to start a party planning business that specializes in children’s parties.
Several months ago I found this frame and it became the inspiration for the entire party. Winter has a love for elephants and I had visions of a party with a Moroccan flair. After rummaging through my mother’s closets and cupboards and a few purchases from the store I crated this whimsical party for my niece and her friends.

A big Thank You to my friend Sarah who helped me drape
the fabric to create the canopies. She also helped make the pom poms

You can never go wrong with tissue paper pom poms
they are fun, easy, and festive! |

The little girls got their own special table and canopy |

All the kids had fun decorating their own cupcakes. |

I thought it was cute they all toasted to Winter's birthday |
|
Then they thought it would be a good idea to toast marshmallow pops over the candle |
|
I found an elephant mold and decorated the cake.
It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. |
Now it’s time to focus on a princess party and a cat in the hat theme party that I’m really excited about. Hope you are all having a great start to the New Year.
